Since Gabrielle is not here to celebrate her birthday with us this year, we decided there was no better
way to celebrate this day than to launch the foundation we started in her memory.
We believe she would have been so very proud to be associated with such a wonderful group of people working
to help families with brave kids like her during an extremely trying chapter in their lives.
We are very very grateful to the many people who made the launch a success.

Coquitlam River Elementary staff, students and parents for supporting us in our endevours,
Sharon Toohey, BCCH President, for taking the time to speak about the importance of family based care for our children,
Dr. Geoff Cuvelier, BCCH Oncologist, for caring for Gaby
during her treatment as well as speaking at the launch about
the effects childhood cancer has on a family,
Andrea Johnson, BCCH social worker, for being available to and caring for our family during Gaby's treatment as well as
speaking at the launch about finding normalacy in a childhood cancer diagnosis,
Fin from the Vancouver Canucks, for helping bring a positive atmosphere to the students at the school,
Lui Passaglia, for helping us present a gift to the school and for offering his kindness to our foundation,
and to our family, friends and board of directors, for your love and support and always being there for us and for the many
volunteers who have taken time out of their lives to help us make our vision a reality. Thank you all so very much.
